“Characteristics of Criminals”
With Dr. Cynthia Lea Clark, Psy.D.
Workshop Description
This
course looks at the differences between the Sociopath and the
Psychopath, gives details on how to profile and then looks at
certain characteristics that criminals who perpetrate a
particular crime have in common. For example, many serial
killers were bed wetters.
We
examine the most violent of crimes; the serial killers, mass
murderers, rapists to the lesser violent; the stalker, the gang
member, the spy; to the least violent; white collar criminals,
and more.
This
course provides the writer with in depth knowledge of any
criminal they wish to add to their story.
About the Instructor
Born
and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cynthia Lea Clark began
her acting career with the Repertory Theatre of New Orleans,
under Miss June Havoc. As former a Miss Chicago (Miss USA), she
continued school, graduating from Northwestern University
(multiple degreed), attended nursing school, and became a
Firefighter Paramedic. After working as an actress in Chicago,
she moved to Los Angeles where she worked on many television
shows, such as DAYS OF OUR LIVES and STAT, while continuing her
education with a Masters in Psychology and then a Doctorate of
Psychology. While working on STAT, she was stalked which led her
to work in Forensic Psychopathology. She has over 70 interviews
with serial killers, mass murderers, etc. She founded
CrimeInMind with former FBI agent and author Rae Monet. Today
she mixes Forensics with writing and acting.
