Welcome

The Indiana Romance Writers of America is a chapter of the Romance Writers of America® (RWA). We are a professional organization dedicated to creating high-quality romance writing in all genres through education and networking among authors, agents, editors and others in the publishing industry.

Our mission is to educate and encourage authors at all levels in their pursuit of excellence in romance writing. We are an active chapter with over fifty members who write in a broad spectrum of romance genres. Whether you are a beginning writer, an intermediate, or a published author, you are welcome here.

Prospective members interested in joining IRWA must first join our parent organization, Romance Writers of America®. You may request a membership package through the RWA® website or call (832) 717-5200 or you can write to them at: Romance Writers of America, 14615 Benfer Road, Houston, TX  77069. IRWA allows two trial meetings before joining. Chapter dues are only $24 per year. For more information check out our Join Us page.
